More than one review against the book has appeared. These include John Currid in the current Banner of Truth Magazine and various articles at Reformation 21. See here and here and here. There are lots of other reviews elsewhere. This interview is also interesting.
The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

i wish you would have expounded on why you didn't find the book helpful and why it failed.
because it is an amazing book.
We obviously disagree here. I'm with the reviews I've linked to. Is the book v popular in WTS?
the book is basically dr. enns' old testament introduction course put into a lay friendly book.
those students who actually think love the book and the class.
those students who are either 'truly reformed' or don't want to think don't like the book.
